Mathilde suffers from an orphan disease whose treatment has not yet been found.
Her muscles gradually atrophy and lose their strength. But she is a fighter, and will do everything she can to help manage her weakening body.
She swims 4 times a week.
“IT IS WHEN AM IN WATER, WEIGHTLESS, THAT I FEEL THE MOST STRENGTH AND VIGOR.”
This discipline helps rebuild the muscle, tame the pain and improve her resistance to fatigue. Water frees her from tension and helps her overcome stress.
Despite her illness, Mathilde is still very present for her friends, and loved ones.
She has a bright aura, and is someone you want to see, and see again.
She’s a friend with a big F, the real deal. One who knows how to listen, and whom one can count on.
Mathilde represents the power of determination, and generosity.
